Indira and James were one of the warmest, kindest couples we've met. Indira was a glowing and magnetic presence--her friends and family repeatedly remarked that she gives the best hugs (we can vouch for that!). James was deeply involved in the wedding-planning process and was both chivalrous and thoughtful throughout the big day. They chose St. George Greek Orthodox Church and Tanoan Country Club for their whimsical celebration.
Their romantic fairy-tale theme echoed throughout many of their wedding's details, including a castle cake, bright and airy decor, and a cathedral length veil to complete a sumptuous dress fit for a queen. The spectacular, quintessential New Mexico sunset and sparkler sendoff added to the enchantment. This was our first time photographing a ceremony in a Greek Orthodox church, and it was lovely to witness a set of moving rituals that were new to us. Most of the ceremony was sung rather than spoken, which was beautiful to hear.
We were privileged to document the sweetness Indira and James showed each other and their lighthearted joy as they began their new life together.
