Nichole and Matt – 6/11/10 :: Albuquerque Wedding Photography

Well, it seems I have found some time to blog a little sooner than I anticipated.  Here is a look at Nichole and Matt’s intimate wedding at Casa Rondena Winery in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque.  After a quick ceremony, we explored the winery taking photos of the bride and groom all the way.  Be sure to check out the blog post of their gorgeous engagement session, too!

Too busy to blog!

If you think our lack of recent blog posts means we haven’t been busy, think again!  We have been too busy shooting, processing and meeting with clients to even touch the blog until this moment.  After the wedding season slows down in October, we will give you a peek at the many wonderful weddings we have had the honor of photographing this summer.  A quick note to 2011 brides: our availability is limited to about 40 weddings per year, and we are almost half way there!  We just booked the last available Saturday in June (sorry!) but there is still a lot of room on the calendar.  If you are interested in having us photograph your wedding, contact us soon before we are booked on your wedding date!

Deanna and Mike – 6/5/10 :: Albuquerque Wedding Photography

Deanna and Mike’s wedding ceremony was held at Saint Jude Thadeus church on Albuquerque’s west side and their reception took place at Chamisa Hills Country Club in Rio Rancho.  We began the day with a few getting ready shots then headed over to the church for a few formals and the ceremony.  Mike and Deanna live on the gulf coast of Texas and love the water, so they chose an ocean theme for their wedding.  Their reception was beautifully adorned with shells, starfish, sea nets, and other ocean accessories.  During the reception, we took Deanna and Mike outside for some photos just in time for a classic Albuquerque sunset – bright pink Sandias!  We spent over 10 hours with Mike and Deanna on their wedding day and ended up with about 750 photographs.  The images below are just a few of our favorites.  It was wonderful working with this lovely couple and their families.  Thanks, Deanna and Mike, for making us a part of your wedding day!

Lynne & Daniel – 4/30/10 :: Albuquerque Wedding Photography

Lynne and Daniel got married on a beautiful Friday evening at the Albuquerque Botanic Garden.  They abandoned superstition/tradition and got ready for their wedding together which resulted in some wonderfully unique images.  During their intimate wedding ceremony at the Botanic Garden, the sun was just barely peeking through a thin layer of clouds resulting in some gorgeous, silvery light.  Perfect for photos!   After a few photos at the garden, we went to Old Town Albuquerque for more photos of the bride and groom and called it a day just as the sun went down.  Thank you, Lynne and Daniel, for being such wonderful subjects and making us a part of your wedding!

Estevan & Germaine – 4/10/10 :: Northern NM Wedding Photography

Estevan and Germaine’s wedding day began in Pojoaque, NM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe church.  After the ceremony and a few photos at the altar, we headed north to the Ohkay Casino and Resort in Espanola, NM for the reception and more photos of the the bride and groom.  We had a lot of fun posing the couple in front of the wide open New Mexico landscape and heavy machinery behind the resort.  There’s nothing better than a beautiful bride in front of a bulldozer!  Thank you, Estevan and Germaine, for making us a part of your wedding day.

Frank and Natasha – 4/5/10 :: Albuquerque Wedding Photography

A Monday wedding…why not? It’s a good reason to skip work! Frank and Natasha got ready at the Embassy Suites before heading to Our Lady of Guadalupe church in the North Valley for their ceremony. After a few photos at the altar, we headed Barry’s Oasis for a small, intimate reception. Thank you, Frank and Natasha, for making me a part of your wonderful weekday wedding. And now for a shameless plug: Barry’s Oasis has the cutest atmosphere and the most delicious Mediterranean food you will ever eat, so check it out!

Bridal Star Hairstyles Magazine, Jessica Jung & Sweet William Photography

Christine & Adrian – 1/9/10 :: Albuquerque Wedding Photography

Christine and Adrian’s wedding took place on a crisp January day.  The ceremony was held at the Alumni Chapel on the UNM campus and was followed by a ballroom reception at Sandia Resort.  We began with a few shots of the bride getting ready in her hotel room at Sandia, then headed over to UNM to photograph the ceremony.  After a short and very sweet ceremony, the newlyweds and their wedding party met up with us on the golf course at Sandia just in time for a classic Albuquerque sunset – beautiful bright pink mountains!  Thank you, Christine and Adrian, for making us a part of your wonderful winter wedding!

Melissa & Alan – 9/26/09 :: Albuquerque Wedding Photography

Melissa and Alan’s ceremony took place at the UNM Alumni Chapel.  After wards, we walked around UNM for some romantic shots of the newlyweds before heading to Zinc Wine Bar and Bistro in Nob Hill for a gorgeous reception.   As they made their exit, the birdseed rained down making for some awesome shots.  This couple’s love and excitement for each other really shows through in their photos.  We had so much fun working with them!

Felicia & Daniel – 9/21/09 :: Albuquerque Wedding Photography

Hotel Albuquerque was the scene of this fun and intimate wedding.  The ceremony was held in the courtyard and the reception took place in the “fireplace room” of the hotel.  After a short and sweet ceremony, there was just enough time for a few pics of the newlyweds before the reception.  Hotel Albuquerque is full of little spots that are perfect for photos.  It seems like I find a new one every time we shoot there.  This time, we borrowed some rocking chairs from the patio as props.  Felicia and Daniel were great sports and a lot of fun to work with.  After a delicious dinner, the courtyard was transformed into the dance floor and we snapped away until it was time to go.  Good times!
