This wedding was one of the highlights of our summer. We were blessed with the opportunity to visit Russia and photograph the wedding of beautiful Russian Katerina to charming American Dustin!
Their wedding ceremony took place at an old Anglican church in Moscow, followed by a sunny champagne celebration in the church’s garden and a reception at the nearby Romantic Chenonceau Hotel. Before the reception, we traveled by limousine to Red Square where we photographed the bride and groom, as well as the wedding party, against the background of St. Basil’s cathedral and other striking landmarks. The couple’s reception featured delicious Russian and European food, games, dancing, homemade raspberry-infused vodka, and warm and joyful toasts given by numerous members of the families and wedding parties. It was an amazing party!
Before heading back to the states, we took the opportunity to visit St. Petersburg, the most beautiful place we had ever seen! We marveled at the famous Hermitage museum and explored the city on foot. We were also lucky enough to watch the traffic bridges go up for boats to pass through, and because the city is so far North, the sun never fully set. It was truly a Romantic and memorable adventure!
